still here

I'm still here :) I've been swamped lately with lots of different things. Thank you all so much for the comments on the last post. It's nice to know others can relate...and I got some really great advice from you all. I think you all are absolutely right...even though all the changes are good and exciting, I'm sure my body regardless, is freaking out and would explain the extra emotion. I don't know why I didn't think about that...I guess because I never thought good things can stress someone out hahha. but anyways, I'll be back soon with lots of eye candy.

Oh, and I've had a few people ask--The next Artistic Edge class (the photoshop editing course) should start the first week in June...and will be available for purchase through scrap in style tv pretty soon--more details later.

new stuff

So yesterday  I'm editing photos and I turn to one of the music channels on tv and my jaw dropped on the floor. I had to completely stop what I was doing, put on my glasses and watch because one of the guys from the band looked EXACTLY like my ex husband. The funny thing was that my ex had been playing guitar for over 12 years so he was REALLY good at it...I mean GOOD. And he would always dream of playing in a band...he sure had the capability for it. Forget about singing, but the boy had skills when it came to guitar lol. and the band guy wasn't singing..he was only playing guitar and his facial expressions were like almost identical to what my ex did when he played. It was totally WEIRD! So anyways, I'm sitting there telling myself theres no way...it can't be him. Is it??? nahhhhhh...OMG it is!--noooo it can't be. This went on for a GOOD 10 minutes and I couldn't get a good enough look so I actually had to find the band on the internet to see more pictures which ended in the final determination that it wasn't him...but OMG can you imagine?? I was freaking out. Anyways, the band was called "all american rejects" or something like that. The name sounds familiar...they are probably popular lol. So that was the biggest event of my weekend lol..I know I live a very venturous and exciting life...who wants to come over???

So I did do a little creating. I actually kind of like the layouts for once lol. They are for a special thing that Prima is going to do soon so I used all prima stuff from the Odyssey line which is awesome and bright and makes me smile :)

and lately I've been kind of emotional. Its really weird because I normally can pinpoint why...ya know?--like something causing it. But I can't pinpoint it this time and it's driving me crazy. dude...it's bad...like anything will make me cry. and I've been feeling kind of bummed out everyday. Have you ever felt like that before??--I mean where you don't even have a CLUE why you are feeling that way? How did you get over it?

Off to get some sleep! I'm excited to see what the catwalk picks are tomorrow night at sis tv! OH and wish me luck...I'll be weighing in at weight watchers after work tomorrow. :)

avril lavigne

So yesterday I was supposed to go with my cousin and aunt to an avril lavigne concert...we were so excited!! The last time I went to a concert was when I was a teen so I totally got all dolled up so that we could take lots of pics...and then when we got there we were told it was cancelled! such a bummer. But that didn't stop us from still doing pics. We just went to the movies instead and saw made of honor--which is really cute :)

Some of my most fave Prima flowers right now...like I want to use them on every single layout. I swear this thing is more of an obsession...it can't be healthy haha.

and here is the official sneak peek of my upcoming class

recent layouts

My first couple days at Prima were pretty awesome. Actually kind of funny because there was one day that I needed to make a mini album for them to take to an event and so I started the project right away in the morning and towards lunch I kind of shook my head and thought to myself that I couldn't believe this is my job...this is what I absolutely love doing...and it's my job!! So I go to lunch and then find out that the album needed to be done that day--insert a very freaked adrienne because she only had like 2 pages front and back done at that point LOLLLL. But alas I finished it like a champ and felt like I owned the world (because you KNOW how it is when you totally complete a big album ya know??). And then....
then...
I find out we needed to make a few kits for the people to make a part of this album at the event...and they need to be done that day.
a few kits= 75 LOLLLLLLLLLLL.
Insert another freaked Adrienne

because dude it was only my second day and I certainly did not want to mess anything up ya know? I worked well under pressure, but at the end of the day I have to admit I was pretty exhausted and totally did a massive flop on the couch...I think I might have even bounced. But even in the most hectic most pressured situation...I still feel really lucky and priviladged to be working with them. Everyone is just so nice and welcoming, and the atmosphere though clearly busy--is still relaxed and grounded. I love it there! :D

the cutest story

In a zoo in California , a mother tiger gave birth to a rare set of triplet tiger cubs. Unfortunately, due to complications in the pregnancy, the cubs were born prematurely and due to their tiny size, they died shortly after birth.

The mother tiger after recovering from the delivery, suddenly started to decline in health, although physically she was fine. The veterinarians felt that the loss of her litter had caused
the tigress to fall into a depression. The doctors decided that if the tigress could surrogate
another mother's cubs, perhaps she would improve.

After checking with many other zoos across the country, the depressing news was that there
were no tiger cubs of the right age to introduce to the mourning mother. The veterinarians decided to try something that had never been tried in a zoo environment. Sometimes a mother of one species will take on the care of a different species. The only "orphans" that could be found quickly, were a litter of weanling pigs. The zoo keepers and vets wrapped the piglets in
tiger skin and placed the babies around the mother tiger. Would they become cubs or pork chops??
Take a look..

wow

boy has it been a long time since I posted! I didn't even realize until my aunt said something the other day haha. So i guess I'll start with some pics :)
I took these over a year ago back in San Diego but never really edited them...I loooove these little bird ones!

Last weekend my aunt and I met one of her friends at a scrapbook shop about an hour away for a crop. It was a lot of fun but I have to admit...I STILL feel like my creative side is on vacation. I'm just not getting it...and its so frustrating because I love scrappin (clearly lol), but I just cant get whats in my head on paper!  I did finish my holland mini-album...which I'm happy with. There's a lot of pictures that I've scrapped 12x12 in it..but I want to have a big album and this one so that if I want to show a friend or something I can just grab this small one :)

now THIS is some exciting news! If you recognize these pictures...

You might know that they are of France :)
and why is Adrienne posting pictures of france???
because...
{{{I'm going there!!!!}}} :D
I'll be there in October to teach at one of Celine Navarros events this year! If you are interested you can contact her through her blog which is in my typelist on the right------->
I am so excited you guys!!! like you have no idea...I cant really even believe it!! I mean not to mention that Celine and I will be able to hang out for a few days and I'll finally be able to meet some gals that I've known for a while! sooooo cool!! It is such a dream...I've always dreamt of going there, but a little part of me kind of felt I never would! So anyways, thats it for now...I'll be having a RAK on my blog in a couple days...nothing big, just a stamp :)
And today will be my first day at Prima...wish me luck!

ohhh the suspense

Apparently it takes a little longer to make a video and upload a video than I thought. I figured an hour would be just about right...
but two....was unexpected LOL.
and now (as JJ from sis tv would say) I feel like a proud momma
of myself.
and clearly I know that is weird.
so without delay....here is my fun little announcement :)
and yes...I made it suspenseful LOLLLLL.
enjoy!
